Hmm, pretty cool, I have to dissagree with the boomerangs though:P assassins have skills like dancing daggers, leaping matis sting, etc. which throw daggers at your opponent, so need need for boomerangs.

SLING?? AS IN: THE SLING A VERY COOL MONSTER IS WIELDING IN THE GUILD WARS PROPHECIES CINEMATIC!??!

Can't wait to see a sling in action, damn thats gotta hurt

Nunchucks (one word)

I know the klingon weapon, and if you want 2 miniature versions of them go buy the ungues of the oni (green daggers)

Klingon bat'leh owns, used to watch star trek daily.
Fortunatly, I don't any more:P

Habuerk is basicly a spear axe, and it is still used today by Swiss Army Guards...

Just about every weapon that can be used in a game already exsists in reality, the only original weapons that are in games and arn't in reality are usually the ones which don't actually work in reality or couldn't be used by humans.

Reapers Sythe-(green for dervish) but its pretty much a sythe with a jagged blade and comming out of a skull and bone staff

2 handed axes-huge axes or jus mauls that looks like axes much like marble hammer but sharp and they deal peircing

Glass/Dimond- a class of wepon that would be clear and all wepon types could use this like glass axe glass sword glass sheild i think that would be very cool and dyeing would jus turn it into that kinda tint like blue tint or red tint

Ya know, I think a cool idea could be to have new weapon types with other attribute requirements.

I've seen an old thread on Rangers wanting a Beast Mastery weapon (like a whip or whatever), and this thread just got me reminded of that. What if there were new weapons for all the characters that could have unique attack styles/damage/damage-types?

Some examples of what I mean: (aside from the Ranger Beast Mastery Whip)

Necromancer [Blood Magic] Claws
2-handed, Melee, stats equivalent to a staff (mods, upgrades and everything)

Mesmer [Domination] Rapier/Cane Sword
1-handed, Melee, standard wand style (no upgrades, just inherent mods)

Monk [Smiting] Bo-Staff (similar to the existing Bo-Staff)
2-handed, Melee, normal staff stats

In essence, the weapon simply replaces their normal staff or wand, and instead of ranged, it's melee, possibly for a little bit more damage and/or faster speed. There could be weapon attacks tied into those attributes (I could see a Mesmer making someone "Beg for Mercy" using his Rapier), or they could just use it as a secondary form of damage as the staves/wands are now.

I just think this could add a sense of style!

i think they should make new wepons desined around builds right now like the beast mastery wip that gives beast masters the ability to actuly help there pet and the cane sword is designed around the illusinary wepon build of mez there should be new wepons that dont jus rely on normal attribute like they do now
or jus same ol weps that jus require dif attributes

this is kinda out of subject...but its a question for terra xin.....i have jus been looken at posts the past couple of day and i have noticed that you are tearing thies suggestions appart i mean they are jus suggestions its not right for u to go around saying that everything is a bad idea and shouldnt be use and correcting peoples mistakes we are only human....

Yeah the 2 handed sword idea is great, but it's a bit unfair to the other warrior weapons. If there is a 2 handed claymore for swordsmanship, there should be a 2 handed battle axe for the axe mastery, and a 1 handed mace for hammer mastery. Now there's nothing wrong with a bommerang except for the difficulty to draw, maybe if shiroken were suggested that would be too assassin-like.

and Mr. Criticizer Xin you shouldn't be talking, you correct spelling yet use incorrect spelling yourself.

You said spelt when the word you are looking for is spelled.

Spelt is a type of grain grown for livestock, mostly in europe. You can read up about it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt
If you Belive everything you read on wikis.

anything with blades, projectiles, or blunt damage is basically adequate, as we have slashing, piercing, and blunt damage.

A two handed staff that you use to poke things would be nice. Or halberds, polearms, longsword/glaives

Add Wildnerness Survival /Expertise Staffs (Ranger), Throwing Needles (Assassin), Claws (Generic Melee), Pikes, Trident, and Nonweapon Glove-type for Hand-To-Hand type fighters for perhaps a future class.
